  • EPA Section 608 Universal Certification and NATE Core certification (experience)
  • Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex HVAC equipment including chillers, RTUs, and VAV systems (experience)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the US (up to 50%) (experience)
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (rooftops, confined spaces) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • BACnet or Niagara Certification for building automation systems (experience)
  • 7+ years of experience with Honeywell or similar OEM HVAC products (experience)
  • Experience with centrifugal chillers or advanced controls like Honeywell's WEBs-N4 (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Execute complex HVAC diagnostics using multimeters, gauges, and proprietary Honeywell software to identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and control issues
  • Lead on-site repairs and retrofits, ensuring 99%+ first-time fix rates and minimal system downtime
  • Mentor and train junior technicians on best practices, safety procedures, and Honeywell-specific tools during field operations
  • Collaborate with regional teams to develop customized maintenance schedules and upgrade recommendations for optimal system performance
  • Perform energy audits and efficiency optimizations, documenting results to support client sustainability goals
  • Maintain accurate service records in CRM systems and prepare technical reports for internal review and customer delivery
  • Respond to high-priority service requests, coordinating logistics for parts and tools to achieve rapid turnaround
