Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineering teams in the design, testing, and validation of mechanical and electrical systems for aerospace and industrial applications.
- Support technical documentation, including creating CAD models, engineering drawings, and test reports using tools like SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Conduct data analysis on product performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and recommend optimizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in project meetings, prepare progress updates, and contribute to successful project completion under tight deadlines.
- Shadow senior engineers to learn best practices in engineering support, compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100), and safety protocols.

- Availability for a full-time internship (6-12 months) on a hybrid schedule in Brno, Czechia (experience)
- Legal authorization to work in Czechia (EU citizenship or valid work permit preferred) (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of relevant coursework in CAD, MATLAB, or programming (e.g., Python) (experience)
- Prior internship or co-op experience in engineering or manufacturing (experience)

Responsibilities
- Support the development and testing of engineering prototypes by assembling components and running simulations
- Analyze test data using statistical tools to generate reports and visualize trends for engineering review
- Maintain engineering databases and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards
- Assist in failure mode analysis and implement design improvements based on feedback from senior engineers
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate new technologies into existing product lines
- Participate in safety audits and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Six Sigma projects)
- Prepare technical presentations and contribute to team meetings on project status and milestones
