- Saudi National with valid Iqama or eligibility for employment in KSA (experience)
- Strong academic record (minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 or equivalent) (experience)
- Basic understanding of systems engineering principles, including MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering) (experience)
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Arabic proficiency preferred (experience)
- Availability for full-time hybrid work during the 6-12 month internship period (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Completed coursework in control systems, avionics, or embedded systems (experience)
- Prior internship or co-op experience in engineering (experience)
- Familiarity with INCOSE systems engineering standards or certifications in progress (experience)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system models using tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler or Enterprise Architect to support requirements definition and architecture design
- Perform trade studies and risk assessments to optimize system performance, reliability, and safety
- Integrate subsystems through interface definition and verification testing in lab environments
- Analyze system requirements using DOORS or similar tools to ensure traceability and compliance with regulatory standards
- Support failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) and hazard analysis for critical systems
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and test engineers to resolve integration issues and implement corrective actions
- Prepare technical documentation, including system design descriptions and test reports, for stakeholder review
