Key Responsibilities

Summary

  • Proficiency in relevant software tools such as Altium Designer, LTSpice, or MATLAB (experience)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (experience)
  • Availability for a 6-12 month internship commitment (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing or holding a Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (experience)
  • Prior internship or project experience in hardware design or embedded systems (experience)
  • Knowledge of aerospace standards (e.g., DO-254) or IPC standards (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and simulate electronic circuits for R&D prototypes using CAD tools and SPICE simulations
  • Develop and assemble PCB layouts, ensuring compliance with design for manufacturability (DFM) principles
  • Perform hardware testing, including functional verification, EMI/EMC testing, and thermal analysis
  • Debug and troubleshoot hardware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hardware with firmware and mechanical subsystems
  • Analyze test data, generate reports, and propose design improvements for enhanced performance
  • Support documentation of designs, BOMs, and engineering change orders (ECOs)
