Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in onboarding new hires by preparing documentation, scheduling orientations, and coordinating with IT for system access.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems like Workday, ensuring data integrity and compliance with GDPR and local labor laws.
  • Support recruitment efforts by screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates via ATS platforms.
  • Help organize employee engagement activities, including team-building events and training sessions for the engineering team.
  • Process payroll inputs, benefits enrollments, and leave requests while verifying accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics on metrics such as turnover rates and headcount using Excel and BI tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update HR policies and ensure alignment with Honeywell's global standards.

Summary

As an Intern - HR Administrator here at Honeywell, you will be reporting directly to our Director of Engineering, and you’ll work out of our Krakow location on a Hybrid work schedule. This is hybrid work 3+2! (3 days from office & 2 days from home).

  • Basic understanding of HR processes such as recruitment and onboarding (experience)
  • Availability for hybrid work schedule (3 days office, 2 days remote) in Krakow (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or volunteer experience in HR or administrative roles (experience)
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems like Workday or SAP SuccessFactors (experience)
  • Knowledge of Polish labor laws and GDPR compliance (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the full cycle of employee onboarding, including documentation preparation and orientation coordination
  • Update and maintain employee data in HR information systems to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Support talent acquisition by screening applications, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications
  • Organize and facilitate HR events, training sessions, and engagement initiatives for engineering teams
  • Process payroll, benefits, and leave requests with a focus on detail and confidentiality
  • Prepare HR reports and dashboards analyzing key metrics like retention and recruitment efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering and HR teams to implement process improvements and policy updates
