- Legal authorization to work in the Czech Republic or EU (no sponsorship for internships) (experience)
- Availability for hybrid work in Brno for 6-12 months (full-time or part-time during academic terms) (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or co-op experience in systems engineering or related field (experience)
- Familiarity with industry standards such as DO-178C, ARP4754A, or ISO 15288 (experience)
- Experience with agile methodologies or DevSecOps practices (experience)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system requirements specifications using tools like IBM DOORS or Polarion
- Create system architecture models and simulations to evaluate design trade-offs and performance
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and test engineers to ensure seamless system integration
- Perform failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) and hazard assessments for safety-critical systems
- Support prototype development and testing, analyzing results to recommend design improvements
- Contribute to design reviews, presenting findings to senior engineers and stakeholders
- Document processes and generate reports compliant with Honeywell engineering standards
