Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, timelines, and milestones using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Support the tracking of project progress, identifying risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and quality teams to gather status updates and prepare comprehensive project reports.
  • Contribute to resource allocation planning and budget monitoring for engineering projects.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders by organizing meetings, documenting action items, and distributing updates.
  • Learn and apply project management best practices, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies, in real-world scenarios.
  • Conduct data analysis on project metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Summary

As an Intern Project Management Support here at Honeywell, you will gain hands-on experience in program management, contributing to planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects, and learning project management best practices. You will report directly to our Program Manager and you’ll work out of our Nysa location on a Hybrid work schedule.

  • Availability for hybrid work schedule in Nysa, Poland (experience)
  • Basic understanding of project management principles (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or co-op experience in engineering or project support (experience)
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Asana (experience)
  • Knowledge of Polish language for local team interactions (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update detailed project schedules and Gantt charts to track milestones and deliverables
  • Monitor project risks by conducting regular assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Prepare weekly status reports and dashboards for leadership review using data visualization tools
  • Coordinate cross-functional meetings, capture minutes, and follow up on action items
  • Assist in budget tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis for engineering programs
  • Support procurement activities by managing supplier timelines and documentation
  • Contribute to lessons learned sessions and process improvement recommendations post-project
