- Prior internship or project experience in software development (experience)
- Familiarity with embedded systems or IoT technologies (experience)
- Completion of relevant coursework in algorithms, data structures, or cloud computing (experience)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software components for Honeywell's embedded systems and web applications using C++, Java, or Python
- Implement and test algorithms to optimize real-time data processing in aerospace applications
- Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate software with hardware prototypes and IoT sensors
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to meet stringent quality standards
- Contribute to agile sprints by creating user stories, writing unit tests, and deploying via CI/CD pipelines
- Document technical designs and generate reports on development progress
- Support the team in troubleshooting production issues and enhancing system reliability
