Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing strategies for critical components.
  • Assist in developing and executing RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP) to solicit proposals from potential suppliers and evaluate bids based on total cost of ownership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and quality, to negotiate contracts and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyze spend data using tools like SAP Ariba and Excel to support category management and strategic sourcing roadmaps.
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics, including delivery, quality, and sustainability KPIs, and contribute to performance improvement plans.
  • Support risk assessment and mitigation strategies for global supply chains, including dual-sourcing and geopolitical analysis.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on sourcing initiatives, savings achieved, and market trends.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis (experience)
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in research or data-driven projects (experience)
  • Availability for a full-time 12-month contract in a hybrid international work environment (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing or holding a Master's degree in Supply Chain or related field (experience)
  • Relevant certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or APICS (experience)
  • Prior internship or co-op experience in procurement, sourcing, or manufacturing (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive market analysis to identify new suppliers and negotiate pricing for strategic categories
  • Support the full sourcing lifecycle from needs assessment to contract award and implementation
  • Develop supplier scorecards and conduct audits to ensure compliance with Honeywell's ethical and sustainability standards
  • Utilize ERP systems like SAP to track spend, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels
  • Collaborate on value engineering projects to reduce costs without compromising quality
  • Contribute to digital transformation initiatives, including e-sourcing tools and AI-driven analytics
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership during quarterly sourcing reviews
