  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including software, hardware, and firmware engineers—to integrate subsystems and verify system performance.
  • Conduct trade studies, risk assessments, and simulations to optimize system reliability and efficiency.

Summary

  • Eligibility to work in the Czech Republic (EU citizenship or valid work permit preferred) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or co-op experience in systems engineering or related field (experience)
  • Experience with DOORS, Jira, or Confluence for requirements management (experience)
  • Knowledge of aerospace standards (e.g., ARP4754A, ARP4761) or industrial automation protocols (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze system requirements and develop high-level architectures for embedded and real-time systems
  • Create and maintain system models using SysML and simulation tools to predict performance
  • Integrate hardware and software components, performing interface definition and testing
  • Execute trade-off analyses to balance cost, performance, weight, and reliability
  • Support system verification through lab testing, simulations, and formal reviews
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and implement solutions
  • Prepare technical documentation and contribute to design reviews and agile sprint planning
