Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the requirements analysis and architectural design of complex embedded systems for aerospace and industrial applications.
- Develop and test system models using tools like SysML, MATLAB/Simulink, or Cameo Systems Modeler.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including software, hardware, and firmware engineers—to integrate subsystems and verify system performance.
- Conduct trade studies, risk assessments, and simulations to optimize system reliability and efficiency.
- Support verification and validation activities, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and compliance with DO-178C/DO-254 standards.
- Document technical specifications, generate reports, and present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the systems engineering lifecycle.

- Eligibility to work in the Czech Republic (EU citizenship or valid work permit preferred) (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or co-op experience in systems engineering or related field (experience)
- Experience with DOORS, Jira, or Confluence for requirements management (experience)
- Knowledge of aerospace standards (e.g., ARP4754A, ARP4761) or industrial automation protocols (experience)
Responsibilities
- Analyze system requirements and develop high-level architectures for embedded and real-time systems
- Create and maintain system models using SysML and simulation tools to predict performance
- Integrate hardware and software components, performing interface definition and testing
- Execute trade-off analyses to balance cost, performance, weight, and reliability
- Support system verification through lab testing, simulations, and formal reviews
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and implement solutions
- Prepare technical documentation and contribute to design reviews and agile sprint planning
