Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for Honeywell's FIRE products, troubleshooting hardware and software issues via phone, email, and remote tools.
  • Document support cases in our CRM system, escalating complex issues to senior engineers while ensuring timely resolution.
  • Assist German-speaking customers with product installation, configuration, and maintenance of field instruments and remote engineering solutions.
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring technical problems and collaborate on knowledge base updates.
  • Test software updates and firmware patches in simulated environments to validate functionality before deployment.
  • Monitor system performance metrics and generate reports for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support multilingual training sessions and create user guides tailored for international clients.

  • Availability for a full-time 12-month contract in a hybrid work model (experience)
  • Legal eligibility to work internationally (visa sponsorship not available for interns) (experience)
  • Strong academic record (GPA 3.0+ preferred) (experience)

  • Prior internship or coursework in technical support or helpdesk operations (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical assistance to end-users via multiple channels, resolving 80% of issues on first contact
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware/software faults in FIRE instrumentation using diagnostic tools and remote access
  • Maintain accurate records of support interactions in Salesforce or equivalent ticketing systems
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to replicate and resolve product defects
  • Conduct user training sessions in German for optimal product utilization
  • Analyze support trends to recommend process improvements and reduce ticket volume
  • Ensure compliance with Honeywell's data security and privacy standards in all interactions
