Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend preventive measures.

  • Availability for hybrid work schedule in Charlotte, NC (20-40 hours/week during internship period) (experience)
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to learn quickly (experience)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior IT support experience through coursework, personal projects, or part-time roles (experience)
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, IT Fundamentals (ITF+), or Google IT Support Professional Certificate (experience)
  • Familiarity with Honeywell or enterprise IT environments (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Monitor IT systems and networks using tools like ServiceNow or SolarWinds to identify and resolve issues proactively
  • Provide tier-1 technical support to users, resolving hardware/software problems and escalating complex cases as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of support interactions, resolutions, and system configurations in the IT ticketing system
  • Assist in the deployment and testing of software updates, patches, and new IT tools across the organization
  • Conduct basic root cause analysis on recurring technical issues and propose data-driven improvements
  • Support IT asset management, including inventory audits and user device provisioning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects like endpoint security enhancements or user onboarding
