Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 7.0/10 or equivalent (experience)
  • Demonstrated interest in government relations, public policy, or regulatory affairs through coursework, projects, or extracurricular activities (experience)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with proficiency in Hindi preferred (experience)
  • Basic understanding of Indian government structures, regulatory frameworks, and policy-making processes (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or volunteer experience in government, NGOs, think tanks, or public policy organizations (experience)
  • Knowledge of aerospace, energy, or manufacturing sectors and their regulatory environments in India (experience)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and data analysis tools like Excel or Tableau (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily government announcements, parliamentary proceedings, and regulatory updates to identify impacts on Honeywell's operations
  • Research and draft summaries of policy changes, including implications for business strategy and compliance
  • Prepare briefing materials, talking points, and reports for senior leadership and external meetings with officials
  • Support event coordination for industry forums, roundtables, and government outreach programs
  • Analyze stakeholder positions and develop engagement strategies to advance Honeywell's advocacy goals
  • Maintain databases of government contacts, policy trackers, and interaction logs
