Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities on the 2nd shift, coordinating workflows to optimize throughput and meet production targets.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 20-30 production associates, fostering a high-performance culture through training, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
- Manage resources including materials, equipment, and labor to minimize downtime and control costs, utilizing lean manufacturing principles.
- Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events and Six Sigma projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, and logistics to resolve issues and support new product introductions.
- Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) like OEE, yield rates, and safety incidents to senior leadership.

- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies (experience)
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle (experience)
- Ability to work 2nd shift (typically 3 PM - 11 PM) with flexibility for overtime (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering (experience)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (experience)
- Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing with AS9100 quality standards (experience)
Responsibilities
- Oversee 2nd shift production operations to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly output targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Conduct team huddles, performance coaching, and disciplinary actions to build a motivated and skilled workforce
- Implement and monitor safety programs, ensuring zero-harm incidents and compliance with OSHA and Honeywell safety policies
- Optimize production schedules and resource allocation using data analytics to reduce waste and improve OEE
- Drive root cause analysis for production issues using tools like 8D, 5-Why, and FMEA
- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize equipment downtime and support preventive maintenance
- Prepare and present shift reports on KPIs, variances, and improvement opportunities to ISC management
