Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tier-2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, diagnosing and resolving problems via phone, email, chat, and remote desktop tools to minimize downtime.
  • Manage customer tickets through Honeywell's IT service management system (e.g., ServiceNow), prioritizing based on urgency and impact while maintaining detailed documentation and SLAs.
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues, develop preventive solutions, and escalate complex problems to senior engineers when necessary.
  • Assist in user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, software installations, and access provisioning in compliance with Honeywell's security policies.
  • Conduct training sessions and create knowledge base articles to empower end-users and reduce ticket volume.
  • Monitor system performance, generate reports on support metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for IT support processes.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams to support Honeywell's enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with company-wide standards.

  • Proven track record of handling tier-1 and tier-2 support in a fast-paced setting (experience)
  • Experience with IT service management tools like ServiceNow or similar (experience)
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken) (experience)
  • Availability to work on-site in Santiago de Chile (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent (experience)
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications (e.g., Microsoft 365, SAP) (experience)
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field with additional customer service training (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve IT support tickets within defined SLAs, achieving high first-contact resolution rates
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
  • Configure and maintain network connectivity, VPNs, and remote access for remote and on-site users
  • Ensure data security and compliance by enforcing Honeywell's cybersecurity protocols during support interactions
  • Update and maintain the IT knowledge base with accurate, user-friendly documentation
  • Analyze support trends and recommend process improvements to enhance service efficiency
  • Liaise with vendors for hardware repairs and software licensing renewals
