Reporting to the IT Product Management Lead, you will own the product lifecycle for key IT solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives in areas like enterprise software, cloud platforms, and data analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize product backlogs by collaborating with business units to translate high-level requirements into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and epics.
  • Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality IT solutions.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging technologies and trends, recommending enhancements to Honeywell's IT product portfolio.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication, roadmapping, and progress reporting using tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Drive product vision and strategy, measuring success through KPIs such as user adoption, ROI, and system performance metrics.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, design, security, and operations teams to resolve impediments and optimize delivery pipelines.
  • Ensure compliance with Honeywell's IT governance, security standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, NIST).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (experience)
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in IT/software development (experience)
  • Proven experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) with at least 3 years in a product ownership capacity (experience)
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT enterprise solutions (experience)
  • Experience working in a large-scale enterprise environment, preferably in manufacturing or aerospace (experience)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Information Systems or MBA (experience)
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or equivalent certification (experience)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and enterprise tools like Salesforce or SAP (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog, refining user stories to maximize business value
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and launch IT products that meet user needs
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback to iterate on product features
  • Create and present product roadmaps, demos, and performance reports to senior leadership
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring products adhere to security, scalability, and compliance standards
  • Champion customer-centric development by incorporating voice-of-customer insights
  • Mentor junior team members on agile best practices and product management principles
