As a Jr Supervisor (Assembly) at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and supporting assembly operations within our state-of-the-art facility in Chihuahua, Mexico. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily assembly operations for a team of 15-25 technicians, optimizing workflows to meet or exceed production quotas while minimizing downtime.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield rates, cycle times, and defect percentages, implementing corrective actions to sustain high efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance and engineering, to implement lean manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizen and 5S.
- Provide hands-on training and mentoring to develop assembly personnel, conducting performance reviews and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with Honeywell's safety protocols, ISO 9001 standards, and environmental regulations through regular audits and team briefings.
- Manage inventory levels for assembly components, coordinating with supply chain to prevent shortages and reduce waste.
- Report operational metrics and improvement recommendations to senior management via dashboards and monthly reviews.

- Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean certification (experience)

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of assembly technicians to achieve daily production targets and quality benchmarks
- Implement and monitor process improvements using tools like value stream mapping and root cause analysis
- Conduct safety training sessions and enforce compliance with OSHA and Honeywell safety standards
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and propose data-driven solutions
- Mentor and develop team members through performance coaching and skill-building programs
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment uptime and preventive maintenance schedules
- Prepare and present operational reports to ISC Operations Manager, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement
