Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end installation, commissioning, programming, and optimization of BMS systems, ensuring seamless integration with HVAC, lighting, fire safety, and security subsystems.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in real-time, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and Honeywell proprietary software to minimize downtime and maximize system performance.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and field teams, fostering skill development and adherence to Honeywell's safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, sales, and project management—to deliver customized BMS solutions that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct site assessments, risk analyses, and performance audits, delivering detailed reports and recommendations to enhance system reliability and energy efficiency.
  • Interface directly with customers to provide training, troubleshooting support, and proactive maintenance strategies, building long-term partnerships.

  • Deep knowledge of building automation protocols including BACnet, Modbus, LONworks, and Niagara Framework (experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and possess a valid driver's license (experience)
  • Strong safety record and compliance with OSHA, NEC, and industry standards (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Building Systems (experience)
  • Honeywell certifications (e.g., Niagara N4, WEBs, or SymmetrE) (experience)
  • Experience with enterprise-level BMS integrations in commercial or industrial settings (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute the installation and commissioning of advanced BMS hardware and software on customer sites
  • Program and configure controllers, networks, and user interfaces using Honeywell tools like Niagara Workbench
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex system faults, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
  • Mentor and train junior staff on best practices, safety protocols, and advanced troubleshooting techniques
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and customer teams to scope projects, resolve integration challenges, and ensure on-time delivery
  • Conduct system performance testing, energy audits, and generate comprehensive reports for clients
  • Maintain accurate documentation, service records, and inventory using Honeywell's service management systems
