Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for aerospace connectivity systems, from concept through certification and deployment.
  • Design and architect scalable solutions for flight data recorders and cabin management systems, ensuring compliance with FAA, EASA, and DO-178C standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and systems engineers, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and perform system integration testing in simulated and real-world environments.
  • Mentor junior engineers, foster knowledge sharing, and drive continuous improvement in development processes.
  • Interface with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to define requirements and validate solutions.

  • Proven track record leading complex engineering projects from requirements to certification (experience)
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A) (experience)
  • Experience with system integration and testing in aerospace environments (experience)
  • Eligibility to work internationally, with willingness to travel up to 20% (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field (experience)
  • Certifications such as PMP, INCOSE CSEP, or Six Sigma Green Belt (experience)
  • Experience with Flight Recorder or Cabin Management Systems development (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and integration of innovative connectivity solutions for aerospace applications
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality systems
  • Perform requirements analysis, system architecture design, and verification/validation activities
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to align on technical specifications
  • Conduct thorough risk analysis, FMEA, and safety assessments for avionics systems
  • Drive innovation by prototyping new technologies and optimizing existing connectivity platforms
  • Mentor and develop team members while reporting progress to senior leadership
