Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct external and internal consultations to identify customer demands and position Honeywell's application systems as the ideal solution.
  • Develop and refine product messaging, customer support strategies, and training programs to ensure seamless adoption.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across sales, engineering, and product teams to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Participate in pursuit strategy planning, competitive analysis, and high-stakes customer negotiations.
  • Consult prospective users on product capabilities, demonstrating technical fit through demos and proofs-of-concept.
  • Provide strategic input to product development teams based on field insights and customer feedback.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales engineering or application systems sales within industrial software/technology sectors (experience)
  • Proven track record of closing complex deals and achieving sales quotas in B2B environments (experience)
  • Deep knowledge of application systems, IoT, industrial software platforms, or enterprise solutions (experience)
  • Experience in customer needs analysis, solution architecture, and technical demonstrations (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (experience)
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Honeywell Forge, or similar industry credentials (experience)
  • 8+ years in sales engineering with experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or energy sectors (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Identify and anticipate customer demands through consultative selling to position Honeywell solutions proactively
  • Deliver expert external consultations and internal training to optimize product messaging and support
  • Lead cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with customer requirements and business objectives
  • Develop and execute pursuit strategies, including competitive positioning and negotiation leadership
  • Consult users on application system capabilities via technical demos, PoCs, and capability workshops
  • Provide actionable feedback to R&D teams to influence product enhancements and roadmap priorities
  • Drive revenue growth by nurturing key accounts and expanding Honeywell's solution footprint
