Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, demonstration, and deployment of application and systems solutions for enterprise clients in industries like aerospace, energy, and manufacturing.
  • Conduct technical needs assessments, translating customer pain points into customized Honeywell software and hardware integrations.
  • Develop and present compelling sales proposals, ROI analyses, and proof-of-concept demonstrations to C-level executives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product management, engineering, and service delivery—to ensure seamless solution implementation.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders, achieving sales targets while expanding Honeywell's market share.
  • Mentor junior sales engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and customer-centric innovation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales engineering or pre-sales for application/systems solutions (experience)
  • Proven track record of closing complex deals exceeding $1M in software/hardware integrated systems (experience)
  • Deep knowledge of industrial software platforms, IoT, and automation technologies (experience)
  • Experience in international markets with ability to navigate cultural and regulatory differences (experience)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% globally (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (experience)
  • Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA, or Honeywell-specific product training (experience)
  • 8+ years in sales engineering within aerospace, building technologies, or industrial automation sectors (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Architect and validate end-to-end application and systems solutions aligned with customer business objectives
  • Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and POCs to showcase Honeywell's value proposition
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact sales presentations, including customized demos and TCO/ROI models
  • Negotiate contracts and drive deal progression from opportunity to closure with cross-regional teams
  • Provide post-sales technical support and upsell opportunities to maximize customer lifetime value
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to inform product roadmap contributions
  • Mentor and develop sales engineering talent while contributing to team knowledge sharing
