You will provide onsite and offsite technical support, develop intuitive system graphics, perform critical backups and updates, ensure compliance with safety standards, and assist in the design, estimating, and integration of HVAC and mechanical control systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the installation, configuration, and commissioning of DDC systems, ensuring seamless integration with HVAC, lighting, and mechanical controls.
  • Program and troubleshoot building automation controllers using industry-standard protocols like BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
  • Develop and customize system graphics and user interfaces for Niagara or Honeywell WEBs platforms to optimize operator efficiency.
  • Conduct comprehensive customer training sessions and provide ongoing technical support to maximize system performance.
  • Perform routine backups, firmware updates, and preventive maintenance to uphold system reliability and cybersecurity.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on system design, cost estimation, and integration of third-party equipment.
  • Ensure all activities comply with OSHA safety regulations, NEC codes, and industry standards like ASHRAE.

  • Proven experience with HVAC control systems and integration of mechanical equipment (experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and possess a valid driver's license (experience)
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance (OSHA, NEC) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Niagara N4 or Honeywell WEBs certification (experience)
  • Experience leading a team of technicians or mentoring junior staff (experience)
  • BACnet Professional or Certified Building Automation Professional (CBAP) designation (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Install, program, and commission DDC controllers and field devices for building automation systems
  • Develop HMI graphics, alarms, and trends using tools like Honeywell WEBs-N4 or JACE controllers
  • Provide expert troubleshooting and 24/7 on-call support for critical system issues
  • Conduct site surveys, create as-built documentation, and perform system backups and database migrations
  • Train end-users and facility staff on system operation, maintenance, and optimization
  • Assist in project design, RFPs, and cost estimating for HVAC and mechanical integrations
  • Ensure all installations meet safety, electrical, and building code standards
