Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of field service technicians, providing mentorship, performance coaching, and resource allocation to deliver high-quality service on industrial automation, HVAC systems, and safety equipment.
  • Optimize field service operations by developing and implementing process improvements, scheduling efficiencies, and predictive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize uptime for customers.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through proactive site visits, root cause analysis of service issues, and tailored solutions that exceed client expectations in sectors like manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and product teams to identify growth opportunities, support product launches, and integrate feedback into service enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and Honeywell's quality protocols during all field activities, including installations, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Manage service contracts, inventory, and tools, while analyzing KPIs to report on performance metrics and recommend strategic initiatives for business expansion.

  • Proven track record in troubleshooting and repairing complex electro-mechanical systems (experience)
  • Strong knowledge of Indian industrial safety standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, OSHA equivalents) (experience)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 50% within India (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration (experience)
  • Certifications such as Honeywell Field Service Certification, Six Sigma Green Belt, or relevant OEM training (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell products (e.g., building controls, process solutions) or similar industry leaders (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of 5-10 field technicians, conducting training sessions and performance evaluations to build technical competency
  • Plan and execute field service schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of installations, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on Honeywell systems using diagnostic tools, PLC programming, and calibration equipment
  • Analyze service data and customer feedback to identify trends, implement process optimizations, and reduce mean time to repair (MTTR)
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop service proposals, upsell opportunities, and custom solutions for key accounts
  • Maintain accurate service records, inventory management, and compliance documentation using Honeywell's ERP systems
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as adopting IoT-enabled predictive maintenance and digital service tools
