Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of field technicians in executing service contracts, conducting preventive maintenance, and resolving complex technical issues on customer sites.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance service efficiency, reduce downtime, and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as first-time fix rates and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to identify upselling opportunities and integrate customer feedback into product improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for service failures and drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies and data analytics.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and Honeywell's quality management systems during all field activities.
  • Mentor and train junior technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional development.

  • 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role managing field service teams (experience)
  • Proven track record of optimizing service delivery and driving customer satisfaction metrics (experience)
  • Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools, PLC programming, and calibration equipment (experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within India and valid driver's license (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration (experience)
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt, Honeywell-specific training, or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (experience)
  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce and ERP tools like SAP (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of 5-10 field technicians, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and conducting performance reviews
  • Plan and execute field service schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation and minimal customer disruptions
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and installations of Honeywell products including control systems and sensors
  • Analyze service data to identify trends, recommend process improvements, and reduce operational costs
  • Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication, training sessions, and post-service follow-ups
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated issues and support new product launches
  • Maintain accurate service records, generate reports, and ensure adherence to Honeywell's EHS and quality standards
