Overview

As a Lead Field Service Technician at Honeywell, you will lead our Field Service team, optimize operations, and drive customer satisfaction and business growth through strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 5-10 field technicians in executing service contracts, conducting preventive maintenance, and resolving complex technical issues on Honeywell products including building automation systems and process control equipment.
  • Optimize field operations by developing efficient scheduling, inventory management, and resource allocation strategies to minimize downtime and maximize service delivery.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through proactive relationship management, root cause analysis of service failures, and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and product teams to identify upselling opportunities and contribute to business growth targets.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, OSHA equivalents), and Honeywell's quality protocols during all field activities.
  • Mentor and develop team members through training programs, performance evaluations, and knowledge-sharing sessions to build technical expertise and leadership capabilities.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within India for field assignments (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration (experience)
  • Certifications such as Honeywell Field Service Certification, Six Sigma Green Belt, or ISO Lead Auditor (experience)
  • Experience with IoT, predictive maintenance technologies, or CRM systems like Salesforce (experience)

  • Lead and mentor a team of field technicians in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of Honeywell products and systems
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance service efficiency, reduce response times, and achieve SLA targets
  • Conduct root cause analysis for service incidents and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, gathering feedback to inform product improvements and growth opportunities
