Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 8-12 manufacturing technicians on the 1st shift, providing hands-on guidance, performance coaching, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain complex CNC machines, automated assembly lines, and precision welding equipment to meet production targets and quality specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and defects.
- Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes, including material flow, inventory control, and equipment calibration, to achieve KPIs for output, yield, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to support new product introductions (NPI) and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with Honeywell's safety protocols, ISO 9001 standards, and environmental regulations through daily audits and training sessions.
- Generate shift reports, track metrics using ERP systems like SAP, and recommend enhancements to boost operational performance.
