Key Responsibilities

  • Experience with embedded systems design, PCB layout, and hardware prototyping (experience)
  • Familiarity with aerospace certification processes (e.g., DO-160, DO-254) (experience)
  • Strong project management skills with experience using tools like Jira or MS Project (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field (experience)
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or IPC-A-610 (experience)
  • Experience with Anthem platform or similar avionics hardware systems (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams on Anthem hardware projects, ensuring alignment with program goals
  • Design and develop custom hardware solutions including schematic capture, PCB design, and component selection using tools like Altium or Cadence
  • Oversee hardware testing, validation, and qualification processes, including environmental and EMI/EMC testing
  • Collaborate with software teams to define hardware-software interfaces and ensure seamless integration
  • Manage project deliverables, conduct design reviews, and mitigate technical risks through proactive problem-solving
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating DFMEA and root cause analysis for hardware reliability
  • Interface with suppliers and manufacturing partners to scale hardware production while maintaining quality standards
