  • Familiarity with space industry standards (e.g., ECSS, NASA-STD) and regulatory requirements (experience)
  • Ability to obtain security clearance for international space projects (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field (experience)
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential (experience)
  • Experience with space propulsion systems, avionics, or GNC (Guidance, Navigation, and Control) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full project lifecycle from concept through design, development, testing, and deployment of space systems
  • Mentor and guide engineering teams, conducting performance reviews and technical training sessions
  • Perform risk assessments, mitigation planning, and failure mode analysis for space hardware
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders to align on technical requirements and deliverables
  • Develop innovative solutions using modeling tools like MATLAB/Simulink or STK for mission simulations
  • Oversee integration and verification testing in simulated space environments (e.g., thermal vacuum chambers)
