Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full project lifecycle from concept through deployment, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and commissioning of advanced engineering systems.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Conduct technical reviews, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to resolve engineering challenges.
  • Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, and automation into project solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field (experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in project engineering or leadership roles within aerospace, industrial automation, or building technologies (experience)
  • Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects from inception to completion (experience)
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or PMP principles (experience)
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB) (experience)
  • Strong understanding of engineering standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., FAA, ASME) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Project Management (experience)
  • PMP, Six Sigma, or Lean certification (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell products or similar industrial control systems (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in the design, development, and integration of advanced engineering systems and prototypes
  • Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans to meet aggressive timelines
  • Perform risk assessments, FMEA analyses, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to optimize product performance and reliability
  • Conduct design reviews, validation testing, and performance evaluations using industry-standard tools
  • Interface with clients and suppliers to define requirements, negotiate contracts, and resolve technical issues
  • Prepare and present project status reports, technical documentation, and recommendations to senior leadership
