Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (experience)
  • 10+ years of experience in software architecture and development, with at least 5 years in energy, utilities, or industrial IoT domains (experience)
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale software projects from concept to deployment in hybrid cloud environments (experience)
  • Deep expertise in designing fault-tolerant, real-time systems for mission-critical applications (experience)
  • Experience with regulatory compliance in energy sector software (e.g., NERC CIP, IEC 61850) (experience)
  • Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through complex technical challenges (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (experience)
  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or TOGAF (experience)
  • Prior experience in renewable energy systems, smart grids, or SCADA/EMS platforms (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect end-to-end software solutions for intelligent power distribution and renewable energy management systems
  • Lead cross-functional teams in adopting microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and DevOps pipelines
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and design patterns using UML and C4 models
  • Integrate AI/ML models for predictive analytics in energy optimization and anomaly detection
  • Ensure software security, scalability, and performance through rigorous testing and CI/CD implementation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align software architecture with business goals and sustainability initiatives
