Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end subcontract lifecycle, from solicitation and negotiation to award, administration, and closeout of high-value agreements.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to procure materials, services, and equipment, optimizing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure full compliance with Honeywell policies, prime contract flow-downs, export controls (ITAR/EAR), and government regulations.
  • Proactively manage subcontract performance, identifying and resolving issues through data-driven analysis and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Mentor junior team members and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, legal, finance, and program management teams.
  • Conduct supplier audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain resilience.

  • Experience with federal government contracting and compliance requirements (experience)
  • Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated success in cost reduction and supplier management (experience)
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration (experience)
  • Professional certifications such as CPCM, CPSM, or NCMA CFCM (experience)
  • Experience in international sourcing and export compliance (ITAR/EAR) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead procurement strategies for materials, services, and subcontracts to meet program objectives and budgets
  • Draft, negotiate, and administer subcontract agreements, including terms, pricing, and performance metrics
  • Monitor supplier performance, resolve disputes, and develop mutually acceptable solutions to subcontract issues
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align subcontracts with technical requirements and project timelines
