- Integrate hardware, software, and firmware components using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate customer needs into verifiable requirements and compliance standards.
- Oversee system verification, validation, and certification processes for regulatory bodies like FAA or DO-178C.

- Proven track record of leading cross-functional engineering teams on large-scale projects (experience)
- Experience with systems integration, requirements management, and verification in regulated environments (experience)
- Proficiency in tools like DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler, or MATLAB/Simulink for MBSE (experience)
- U.S. citizenship or ability to obtain security clearance due to ITAR/EAR compliance (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering or related discipline (experience)
- INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or equivalent certification (experience)
- Experience with Honeywell products or similar avionics/industrial control systems (experience)
Responsibilities
- Architect and design complex systems ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry standards like ARP4754A
- Lead requirements elicitation, decomposition, and traceability using tools like IBM DOORS NextGen
- Perform system-level modeling, simulation, and analysis to predict performance and mitigate risks
- Direct integration and testing of multi-disciplinary subsystems, resolving interface issues
- Mentor and develop engineering talent while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with program management, customers, and suppliers to deliver on-time, high-quality solutions
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for system anomalies during development and sustainment
