Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble complex aerospace components and sub-assemblies using detailed engineering blueprints, work instructions, and FAA-approved procedures, ensuring precision and compliance with AS9100 standards.
  • Perform functional and environmental testing on assembled products using specialized test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure testers, and automated test rigs to verify performance against specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and dimensional verifications using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and optical comparators, documenting results in quality management systems.
  • Troubleshoot assembly and test discrepancies, implementing root cause analysis (e.g., 8D methodology) and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles, FOD prevention protocols, and Honeywell’s safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to support process improvements and FAA certification requirements.
  • Accurately record production data in ERP systems like SAP, ensuring traceability and compliance with regulatory audits.

What Makes This Role Exciting
