Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies in transportation, warehousing, and inventory management processes.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs using tools like Excel, Tableau, or SAP to track performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, manufacturing, and suppliers to optimize supply chain flows.
  • Monitor international freight costs, customs compliance, and regulatory requirements to minimize risks and expenses.
  • Support forecasting and planning activities to ensure timely delivery of goods while reducing lead times.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings through data-driven recommendations.
  • Assist in vendor performance evaluations and contract negotiations for logistics service providers.

  • 2-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain analysis, or transportation operations (experience)
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel (advanced), SQL, or ERP systems like SAP (experience)
  • Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms (experience)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights (experience)
  • Experience with logistics software or transportation management systems (TMS) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics (experience)
  • Professional certifications such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, or Six Sigma Green Belt (experience)
  • Experience in global supply chain operations within manufacturing or aerospace industries (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analysis of logistics performance metrics, including on-time delivery, freight costs, and inventory turnover rates
  • Develop and optimize routing and carrier selection strategies to reduce transportation expenses by 5-10%
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with international trade regulations, tariffs, and documentation requirements
  • Create predictive models for demand forecasting and inventory optimization using statistical tools
  • Collaborate with global teams to resolve supply chain disruptions and implement contingency plans
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on logistics KPIs and improvement initiatives
  • Support the implementation of digital logistics solutions, such as IoT tracking or blockchain for visibility
