Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily logistics operations, including inbound/outbound shipments, inventory control, and warehouse activities to meet production schedules and customer demands.
- Develop and implement process improvements using lean methodologies and data analytics to optimize transportation routes, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
- Lead a team of logistics coordinators and warehouse staff, providing coaching, performance evaluations, and training to foster a high-performance culture.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, compliance with safety regulations, and accurate documentation.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, freight costs, and inventory accuracy, generating reports for senior management.
- Manage logistics budgeting, vendor negotiations, and risk mitigation strategies to support operational resilience.
- Ensure adherence to Honeywell's quality standards, ISO certifications, and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols.

- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and logistics software like TMS/WMS (experience)
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, customs compliance, and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, DOT) (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or MBA (experience)
- Professional certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, or Six Sigma Green Belt (experience)
- Experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing supply chains (experience)
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end logistics processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 98%+ on-time delivery
- Analyze logistics data and metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen or Lean Six Sigma
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of 10-20 logistics associates, conducting performance reviews and succession planning
- Negotiate contracts with carriers and suppliers to optimize costs while maintaining service levels
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality teams to align logistics with manufacturing schedules
- Conduct root cause analysis for discrepancies and develop corrective action plans
- Drive digital transformation by integrating automation tools and real-time visibility systems
