Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set up CNC lathes, mills, and multi-axis machines to produce complex parts from blueprints and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration on machining equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and CMMs, ensuring compliance with FAA and Honeywell quality standards.

- Conduct first article inspections (FAI) and in-process checks to verify part conformance to engineering drawings and FAA requirements
- Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on machining centers, tooling, and fixtures to sustain production uptime above 95%
- Utilize precision inspection equipment to measure and document part dimensions, ensuring zero defects escape to final assembly
- Identify and report process deviations, collaborating with supervisors to implement corrective actions and root cause analysis
- Maintain a clean and organized work area per 5S standards, contributing to a culture of safety and efficiency
