Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods efficiently and safely across the facility.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, inspect for damage, and accurately record transactions in our warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Store materials in designated locations following FIFO (First In, First Out) principles, organize inventory for optimal space utilization, and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure 99%+ accuracy.
  • Pick, pack, and stage materials for production lines or outbound shipments, labeling items per Honeywell's quality and traceability standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to 5S methodologies and OSHA safety regulations to prevent accidents and downtime.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies, fulfill urgent material requests, and support continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizen events.
  • Update digital inventory records in real-time using RF scanners and ERP systems such as SAP, generating reports on stock levels and movements as needed.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods (experience)
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software (experience)
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and compliance with OSHA standards (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field (experience)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment (experience)
  • Cherry picker or reach truck certification (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and powered industrial trucks to move materials throughout the facility
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verify quantities and quality against documentation, and process receipts in WMS/ERP systems
  • Accurately pick, pack, and stage materials for internal production use or external shipments using RF scanners and barcode technology
  • Perform daily cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliations to maintain 99% inventory accuracy
  • Maintain warehouse organization using 5S principles, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and FIFO rotation
  • Identify and report material discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the Warehouse Supervisor promptly
  • Support shipping/receiving docks by loading/unloading trucks and preparing documentation for domestic/international shipments
