Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and manage capacity data across the global supply chain to forecast constraints and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain supply-demand balance models using advanced planning tools to create feasible production schedules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics, to improve supply chain visibility and responsiveness.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turns, and fill rates, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implement data-driven solutions to resolve supply chain disruptions and enhance planning accuracy.
  • Generate executive-level reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in materials management, supply chain planning, or production control within a manufacturing or aerospace environment (experience)
  • Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, including modules for materials requirements planning (MRP) (experience)
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel (advanced functions, PivotTables) and SQL (experience)
  • Experience balancing supply and demand in complex, global supply chains (experience)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance if required for specific projects (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or MBA (experience)
  • Certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or Six Sigma Green Belt (experience)
  • Experience with advanced planning systems like Kinaxis RapidResponse or SAP APO (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyze capacity data to identify bottlenecks and develop actionable plans for resolution
  • Create and maintain master production schedules that align supply with demand forecasts
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure material availability and on-time execution
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to measure supply chain performance and drive improvement projects
  • Utilize ERP systems to execute materials planning processes and generate accurate reports
  • Lead root cause analysis for supply chain variances and implement corrective actions
  • Support digital transformation initiatives by integrating data analytics into planning workflows
