Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools like Creo or SolidWorks, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ASME Y14.5 and ISO 2768.
- Conduct value engineering analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality, targeting 10-20% reductions in material and production costs.
- Perform tolerance stack-up, FEA simulations, and DFMEA to validate designs for reliability and performance under real-world conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs into full product architectures, supporting prototype builds and pilot production.
- Lead design reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including BOMs, drawings, and engineering change orders (ECOs).

- Perform failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and root cause investigations to enhance product durability
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation compliant with industry standards
