  • Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical systems (experience)
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, materials science, and manufacturing processes (experience)
  • Ability to obtain security clearance if required for specific projects (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (experience)
  • Professional certification such as Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) or Six Sigma Green Belt (experience)
  • Experience with aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100) or finite element analysis tools like ANSYS (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative mechanical solutions for complex products using CAD and simulation tools
  • Conduct engineering analyses including stress, thermal, and vibration simulations to validate designs
  • Lead cross-functional design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
