  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Mechatronics (experience)
  • IPC-A-610 certification in electronics assembly or equivalent (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environments (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Precisely assemble complex mechanical sub-assemblies and final products using hand-finishing techniques, torque tools, and adhesives to meet tight tolerances
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections using visual, dimensional, and functional testing methods, recording data in Honeywell's digital quality management system
  • Interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions to ensure accurate builds and compliance with customer specifications
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize defects and downtime
  • Operate manual and semi-automated equipment safely, following lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA guidelines
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to support prototype builds and process improvements
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by verifying parts and reporting discrepancies through ERP systems
