- Perform routine maintenance, setup, and tool changes on lathe equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Inspect machined components using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, lockout/tagout procedures, and housekeeping to create a zero-incident work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets, troubleshoot issues, and suggest process improvements.
- Record production data accurately in manufacturing systems and report any deviations or non-conformances promptly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in lean manufacturing practices and Kaizen events.
