Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) enabled manufacturing equipment to process components with precision and consistency.
  • Perform routine assembly, inspection, and testing of products to uphold stringent quality standards and minimize defects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to 5S methodologies and Honeywell's safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
  • Record production data accurately using digital systems, including SAP and proprietary Honeywell tools, for real-time tracking and reporting.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions or process deviations to supervisors, supporting continuous improvement initiatives like Lean Six Sigma.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets and contribute to workflow optimizations.
  • Follow all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines, including proper handling of materials and PPE usage.

  • Basic proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments (experience)
  • Strong commitment to safety standards and quality control processes (experience)
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Industrial Technology or Mechatronics (experience)
  • Experience with SIP systems or telecommunications equipment processing (experience)
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent (experience)
  • Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems in a manufacturing setting (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily production tasks including component assembly, soldering, and SIP module integration while meeting output quotas
  • Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and visual checks to ensure products meet Honeywell's quality specifications
  • Monitor equipment performance and perform basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain production flow
  • Accurately log production metrics, scrap rates, and quality data into digital systems for analysis and reporting
  • Participate in team huddles and kaizen events to identify process improvements and implement corrective actions
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and hazardous material handling
  • Support inventory management by verifying parts counts and reporting discrepancies to maintain supply chain efficiency
