As the regional Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will drive the delivery of cutting-edge Operational Technology (OT), Enterprise Applications, and Connected Services, spearheading innovation and standardization across global projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of OT applications, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems and connected services.
- Serve as the regional SME, providing expert guidance on OT best practices, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Drive standardization of digital solutions across projects, optimizing performance, scalability, and compliance with industry standards like ISA-95 and IEC 62443.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, and operations, to deliver innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct technical assessments, proof-of-concepts, and pilots for emerging technologies such as IIoT, edge computing, and cloud-based OT platforms.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the Honeywell community.

- 5+ years of experience in Operational Technology (OT) applications engineering, including SCADA, DCS, or MES systems (experience)
- Proven experience in integrating OT with enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CMMS) and connected services (experience)
- Strong understanding of industrial protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus, Profibus) and cybersecurity standards (experience)
- Experience leading cross-regional projects in manufacturing, energy, or aerospace sectors (experience)
- Ability to travel internationally up to 25% as needed (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (experience)
- Certifications such as Certified SCADA Security Architect (CSSA), ISA/IEC 62443, or AWS/Azure for OT (experience)
- Experience with IIoT platforms (e.g., Honeywell Forge, PTC ThingWorx) and edge computing (experience)
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable OT applications and digital solutions for industrial environments
- Lead the implementation and standardization of enterprise applications and connected services across regional projects
- Perform system integration testing, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure high availability and performance
- Conduct risk assessments and implement cybersecurity measures for OT systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, develop roadmaps, and deliver project milestones
- Provide technical leadership, training, and support to project teams and end-users
- Stay abreast of industry trends and evaluate new technologies for adoption in Honeywell solutions
