Location: St. Louis, MO | Workplace: On-site

As a Panel Builder/Electrical - Class 2 - Pipeline at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in assembling and wiring electrical control panels for pipeline systems and industrial applications. Reporting directly to the Electrical Supervisor, you will work from our state-of-the-art facility in St. Louis, MO, on a full-time on-site schedule. Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical control panels by interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate component placement and connections.
  • Pull, route, and terminate wires in control cabinets, adhering to NEC codes, Honeywell specifications, and pipeline industry standards.
  • Perform quality inspections, continuity testing, and functional checks on assembled panels to verify electrical integrity and operational readiness.
  • Troubleshoot and repair wiring issues using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools to maintain high production standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement design changes and support prototype development for pipeline control systems.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and Honeywell's safety protocols.
  • Document all assembly processes, test results, and modifications in compliance with ISO 9001 quality management systems.

  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams (experience)
  • Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial safety standards (experience)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting (experience)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check and drug screening (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification (experience)
  • Experience with PLC wiring, SCADA systems, or pipeline control panels (experience)
  • Associate degree in Electrical Technology or related field (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical drawings to build and wire electrical panels for pipeline applications
  • Install, route, and terminate multi-conductor cables and harnesses in control cabinets
  • Conduct point-to-point wiring verification and electrical testing using specialized tools
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to ensure 100% panel functionality
  • Assemble enclosures, mount components, and label systems per Honeywell documentation standards
  • Support production goals by meeting daily quotas while maintaining quality and safety
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing and Kaizen events
