We are seeking a dynamic Plant Director to lead one of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities on an international scale. Reporting to the Regional Operations Vice President, you will oversee all aspects of plant operations, driving efficiency, safety, and innovation in a high-volume production environment focused on aerospace, building technologies, and performance materials. This role demands a strategic leader with deep manufacturing expertise to propel our commitment to operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive plant strategies aligned with Honeywell's global business objectives, optimizing production capacity and resource utilization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve world-class safety standards, zero-incident goals, and compliance with ISO 14001 and OSHA-equivalent regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce costs, minimize waste, and enhance throughput by at least 10% annually.
  • Manage P&L accountability for the facility, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure decisions exceeding $50M.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and employee engagement, implementing talent development programs to build high-performing teams.
  • Collaborate with global supply chain partners to ensure seamless material flow and on-time delivery rates above 98%.
  • Champion digital transformation through implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies like IoT, predictive analytics, and automation.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles such as Plant Manager (experience)
  • Proven track record of managing multi-site or large-scale manufacturing facilities with 500+ employees (experience)
  • Strong P&L management experience in a global industrial environment (experience)
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies (experience)
  • Experience in a regulated industry such as aerospace, automotive, or chemicals (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Engineering (experience)
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent (experience)
  • International experience managing plants in multiple regions (EMEA, APAC, Americas) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily plant operations to ensure 100% safety compliance and production targets are met or exceeded
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for facility expansion, technology upgrades, and capacity optimization
  • Lead root cause analysis for operational issues and deploy corrective actions to achieve OEE >85%
  • Manage capital projects from inception to completion, ensuring ROI and adherence to timelines
  • Build and mentor high-performance teams, conducting talent reviews and succession planning
  • Drive supplier and customer relationships to enhance supply chain resilience and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor KPIs including cost per unit, inventory turns, and quality metrics, reporting to senior leadership
