Job Overview

As a Principal Account Manager for the West Coast Territory, you will be a strategic leader responsible for managing and growing key strategic accounts in the aerospace, industrial automation, and building technologies sectors. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere on the West Coast while driving multimillion-dollar revenue growth through deep customer relationships, solution selling, and cross-portfolio expansion. You will partner with C-suite executives to deliver Honeywell's cutting-edge technologies that enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies for Fortune 500 clients, identifying opportunities across Honeywell's Intelligent Building Solutions, Aerospace, and Performance Materials portfolios to achieve annual revenue targets exceeding $10M.
  • Build and nurture executive-level relationships with key stakeholders, conducting quarterly business reviews to align Honeywell solutions with customer digital transformation and sustainability goals.
  • Lead complex solution sales cycles, from needs assessment and RFP responses to contract negotiation and deal closure, leveraging consultative selling techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and channel partners to customize proposals and deliver proof-of-concept demonstrations.
  • Drive account penetration by upselling adjacent Honeywell technologies, resulting in 20%+ year-over-year growth per account.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic planning and contribute to product roadmap enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with Honeywell's ethical sales practices and maintain accurate CRM records in Salesforce for forecasting and pipeline management.
