  • Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes, leveraging lean methodologies, and integrating advanced tools for project management in complex engineering environments.
  • Lead the successful execution and delivery of aerospace projects, from requirements definition through design, testing, validation, and certification.
  • Champion innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and proposing enhancements to improve system performance and reliability.

  • Proven track record managing complex engineering projects from inception to delivery, including budget and schedule oversight (experience)
  • Experience with aerospace regulations and standards (e.g., FAA, EASA, AS9100, DO-160) (experience)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization (experience)
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or JIRA (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Project Management (experience)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification (experience)
  • Experience with aerospace systems integration, avionics, or propulsion projects (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables while aligning with customer and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk registers using industry-standard tools
  • Facilitate regular status meetings, resolve blockers, and escalate issues to senior leadership as needed
  • Conduct design reviews, gate reviews, and technical assessments to ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and team performance
  • Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to manage procurement, testing, and certification milestones
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on project health, achievements, and lessons learned
