We are currently seeking a skilled Processor - Level 2 to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Greer, SC. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in our high-volume production environment, ensuring the efficient processing of precision components for aerospace engines and systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor advanced CNC machining centers, lathes, and multi-axis processing equipment to produce complex aerospace parts meeting exacting tolerances.
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, CMMs, and optical comparators to verify part quality and compliance with blueprints and specifications.
  • Set up workstations, load raw materials, program machine parameters, and adjust tools to optimize production throughput while minimizing defects and scrap.
  • Maintain detailed production records, including cycle times, yield rates, and quality metrics, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives like Lean Six Sigma projects.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, perform basic preventive maintenance, and collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure 24/7 operational reliability.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols, environmental regulations, and Honeywell's quality management system (ISO 9001/AS9100 certified).
  • Assist in training junior processors and participate in cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements.

  • Proficiency in reading engineering blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and technical specifications (experience)
  • Experience with precision inspection tools and quality control processes in a high-volume manufacturing environment (experience)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, on-site production setting (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in CNC programming (e.g., Mastercam, Fanuc) or ASQ Certified Quality Technician (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace industry with knowledge of AS9100 standards and Lean manufacturing principles (experience)
  • Prior leadership experience training production associates (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines and processing equipment to fabricate precision aerospace components according to production schedules
  • Conduct detailed quality inspections and document results to ensure 100% compliance with Honeywell specifications
  • Set up and program machines, select tooling, and optimize feeds/speeds for maximum efficiency and minimal downtime
  • Identify and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
  • Maintain 5S workplace organization and execute preventive maintenance tasks on equipment
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement process improvements and reduce cycle times
  • Generate accurate production reports and support inventory management for raw materials and finished goods
