Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily processing operations across multiple production lines, optimizing workflows to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Monitor equipment performance and production metrics in real-time, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues, utilizing root cause analysis techniques such as 5-Why and Fishbone diagrams.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and Honeywell safety protocols, conducting regular audits and training team members on best practices.
  • Develop and execute productivity improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing principles, Kaizen events, and process automation recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance, to integrate new processes and technologies.
  • Maintain accurate production records, generate reports on KPIs, and present findings to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.

Summary

  • Proven track record in production line management and process optimization in a fast-paced industrial environment (experience)
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, EPA) and quality standards (ISO 9001) (experience)
  • Experience with troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and implementing lean manufacturing principles (experience)
  • Ability to work on-site full-time in Woodstock, RI (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field (experience)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (experience)
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle in a manufacturing setting (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate processing operations to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production goals while maintaining high safety and quality standards
  • Monitor production lines using SCADA systems and other digital tools to detect anomalies and initiate timely interventions
  • Perform root cause analysis on production issues and develop preventive measures to enhance operational reliability
  • Train and mentor production staff on safe operating procedures, equipment handling, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Implement productivity enhancements, such as workflow redesigns and automation integrations, resulting in measurable efficiency gains
